How are your products different?
Plain Jane's products are truly ALL NATURAL. We use NO fragrances, no artificial colorings or preservatives, and no ingredients that we can't pronounce! 'Tis a gift to be simple, and all of our formulas use as few ingredients as possible and are processed as little as possible in order to maintain their quality and healing properties.

Why handmade soap?
Let's be clear: the BARS that you buy in discount and grocery stores are NOT soap! They are chunks of detergents which have been chemically processed and from which the natural glycerin that is produced during the soapmaking process has been removed.

Our bars include skin loving oils and unrefined shea butter to give you the most moisturizing, natural bar of soap possible. We are certain that once you try them, you will never go back to your detergent chunks again! Your skin will feel the difference upon the first use.

Why natural?
As we all make the switch to healthier, more natural alternatives in the food that we put IN our bodies, attention must be paid to what we put ON our bodies! So many suffer from afflictions that cannot be explained, yet we rarely question their cause.
